Welcome to the gay romance series by Dann Hazel called Some Like It Haute!

The novels in the series are set within the realm of gastronomy. While food is a basic requirement for survival, the bottom level of Maslow’s pyramid, it’s certainly much more than that to many of us. Food connects us with the Earth and the Sun—light, water and nutrients blending to produce the sustenance we require.

But it also connects us with one another. A meal shared with a friend or a lover. A recipe handed down across generations. Or the happy chatter in the kitchen while dinner is prepared. These practices together are so much more than just meeting a metabolic need.

No matter our differences, all of us share a strong interest in food. Through food, we connect with one another. We even show affection. When a long-awaited boyfriend, lover or main squeeze finally arrives at our door, do we not often invite him in and offer a snack or a meal?

Sometimes “I love you” sounds more like: “Have you eaten? Can I make you something?”

So far, the series consists of four titles:

ROOM FOR DESSERT, Book One

MY OWN PRIVATE BISCUIT, Book Two

LONELY DINER, Book Three

GRABBING MY SLYCE! Book Four
